A special day for twenty nine children

14 boys and 15 girls received their Holy Confirmation on Sunday. The sacrament was administered by Mons Nicholas Cauchi, bishop of Gozo. Archpriest Can Joseph Zerafa, Parochial Vicar Fr Joe Cardona and Fr George Cordina also took part. Those who received the Confirmation participated in the Liturgy. The Lauretana Choir was under the direction of Lelio Spiteri.

Confirmation is a sacrament in which the Holy Ghost is given to those already baptized in order to make them strong and perfect Christians and soldiers of Jesus Christ. It is sometimes known as the “Sacrament of the Holy Ghost”
