Launch of 75th Anniversary CD

The year 2003 had a different meaning for Ghajnsielem Band Club, as this is the year that the band is celebrating its 75th Anniversary from its beginning. The band originally began at the St. Joseph Institute in 1928 by the servant of God Guzeppi Di Piro.

As part of the activities to remember this anniversary the band is preparing a CD with a set of marches.  Preparations for this CD have been going for these last months.  Lauretana choir will be singing the chorus.  The band is under the direction of Mro. Sunny Galea while the choir is under the direction of Lelio Spiteri.

• Lill-Madonna ta' Loreto

• Lill-Madonna tad-Duluri

• 'San Guzepp'

• Forza Ghajnsielem (Iddedikat lil Ghajnsielem Football Club)

• Qawwa Zaghzugha (Iddedikat lill-Ghaqda tal-Armar)

This CD will be presented for the first time on Saturday, 6th December 2003 in the Centru Maria Lauretana hall during the program that will be organized by the Ghajnsielem Local Council of the presentation of the Gieh Ghajnselmiz.  After this date the CD will be for sale from the club's premises.
