Monday: Arrival of
group from Tolfa

August 2004 - Day 1)
The 140 strong Tolfa delegation arrived in
Malta over three different flights, after which they were
transported to Cirkewwa to catch a ferry to Mgarr. Once in
Gozo, they met their hosting families over a serving of
refreshments. After a quick shower and dinner, the Festa 2004
was kicked off with the participation of the Giuseppi Verdi
band that also played numerous marches. The surprise highlight
was when both bands joined forces to play Viva x-Xemx as the
Titular Statue appeared in the main doors of the church.
