Tuesday: Official signing of the Twinning Agreement
(24th August 2004)

The St. Joseph Band, directed by Mro Sunny Galea performed its annual Instrumental Concert in the main square. The event, which started at 9.00pm, was a special occasion for both Ghajnsielem and Tolfa. After delivering a short speech for the occasion, Mayors Mr. Francis Cauchi and Dr. Alessandro Battilocchio officially signed the twinning agreement between the two villages. Hon. Anton Tabone, Speaker of the House of Representatives and Hon. Giovanna Debono, Minister for Gozo were both present for the event.
