Thursday: Tolfa Square inaugurated
(26th August 2004)

Ghajnsielem mayor Francis Cauchi described the inauguration of "Pjazza Tolfa" as a reflection of the close ties that exist between Tolfa and Ghajnsielem. The monument, situated in the middle of the square, is a replica of 'La Rocca' fountain which is found in the 'Giardino Comunale', Tolfa.

During the ceremony, Banda G. Verdi of Tolfa held a short musical programme before joining St Joseph Band to play marches in Borg Gharib and Simirat Street. The march ended in front of the band club premises.
