The procession of Ecce Homo

On Sunday evening, procession was held through out the main streets of Ghajnsielem with the statue of Ecce Homo. Local pilgrims accompanied the statue. The fourteen stations of the cross (better known as the Via Sagra) were said during the procession. Ecce Homo is a Latin word meaning the representation (a picture or sculpture) of Jesus wearing a crown of thorns.
