Twinning
Committee meets again

The final preparations for next
August's cultural exchange was on top of the agenda as the
twinning committee held its second meeting of the year. A
group of more then hundred residents from Tolfa are expected
to be among us during the last week of August - the week
dedicated to Our Lady of Loreto. Also, in May, a number of
students from the Ghajnsielem primary school will be visiting Tolfa.
They will be accompanied by their parents and by some members
of the twinning committee. This is part of the twinning
agreement between the two villages.
The provisional program (of
activities) was
also discussed. The Tolfa residents will arrive in Ghajnsielem
on the 23rd of August (around 4.00pm). Shortly afterwards,
they will meet with the hosting families who will be waiting
for them in the main square. The signing ceremony between
Ghajnsielem and Tolfa will take place on Wednesday. Members of
the Banda Musicale G. Verdi (Tolfa) are also expected to take
an active part during the feast celebrations.
The committee is formed by
Francis Cauchi (Mayor), Natasha Cassar, Kevin Cauchi, Frank
Tabone, Frank Debono, Daniel Said, Franco Ciangura, Rudolph
Cauchi, Paul Stellini and Gino Cauchi. All those who are interested in
