First Holy Communion

It was a special day for 33 children as they received their First Holy Communion this Sunday afternoon. They left the Old Parish church at 4.00pm and walked to the Ghajnsielem parish together. A mass was then concelebrated by Archpriest Can Joseph Zerafa. The children participated and sang all the hymns leading to the most special moment as each child received the Holy Communion for the first time.

First Communion is an important event in a Catholic child's life, in which they are fully participating in the Mass and, for the first time, receiving the Bread of Life and the Cup of Salvation.
