New Twinning Committee Meets

Next August's cultural trip to Tolfa was on top of the Agenda as the new twinning committee held its first meeting of the year. The meeting took place at the Local Council’s premises and was chaired by Mayor Francis Cauchi. The second cultural trip to Tolfa will take place during the first or second week of August. The group will only be paying for the airfare (and taxes), as accommodation will be provided by the families of Tolfa.

The committee is responsible for the organization and coordination of the cultural exchanges between the residents of Ghajnsielem and Tolfa. Members include Daniel Said, Frank Tabone, Gino Cauchi, Natasha Cassar, Kevin Cauchi, Frank Debono and Paul Stellini.

All those who are interested shall contact the Ghajnsielem Local Council on  21 561515. Youths are encouraged to take part in this cultural exchange.
