 Holy Week 2005: Palm Sunday
(Sunday, 20th March 2005)

The official celebrations of the Holy Week kicked off today with what we call Palm Sunday. This Sunday observes the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, that was marked by the crowds who were in Jerusalem for Passover waving palm branches and proclaiming him as the messianic king.

Ghajnsielem commemorated this event with the re-enactment of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. The event was organized by 'L-Ghaqda Drammatika Ghajnsielem'. Ghajnsielem.com will soon lunch a special section dedicated to the Holy Week.
