Deborah wins another
prestigious Award

After her
success in Macedonia, fifteen-year-old Deborah Cassar
participated for the second time in the “Golden Cross
International Singing Festival 2005” under the direction of
Anthony Grech on the 4th, 5th and 6th August in the University
of Malta. This year Deborah participated with the song “Sweet
Music” composed by Mark Debono and words by Doris Chetcuti.
Deborah’s category was a bit hard cause in the group of
eighteen singers that participated, there were also
foreigners.
On stage
“Annette’s Mystic Dancers”- a group of four dancers,
accompanied Deborah. The final results were judged by a group
of experts from Malta and from abroad. Deborah won the trophy
of “F.I.D.O.F. Award International”. The “F.I.D.O.F. is an
award well known all over the world. The Ghajnselmiza singer
will be representing Malta for the second time overseas. She
hopes that in the future she will get good results to make
name to Malta and Gozo.
