Franciscan Youth Fest
2005
(Saturday,
17th September 2005)
For the third year, the
GIFRA group once again organised a festival full of
talent and fun. On the 16th of September, it was
performed for persons with special needs and those
who do some type of volunteer work.
Then on Saturday, 17th
September, it was performed for the public. Once
again, it was a festival, which demonstrated in a
whole three-hour show to the invited public the many
talents the youth have. The festival was a product
of three months of working together one way or
another. Everyone did a different part, yet when
everything was put together, the youth’s goodness
stood out.
The GIFRA (Gioventù
Francescana) is a group that meets every Friday in
the Centre of St. Anthony, Gozo - next to the Church
of St. Anthony. The group first met on Friday, 6th
September, 2002 and has been doing so ever since.
The aim of this youth group is to cultivate
friendship and Christian values in a healthy
environment in the spirit of St. Francis.
