Another activity for 'Jum l-Emigranti', this time in the form of a traditional Dinner / BBQ was held on 'Ta' fuq il-Ghajn' street. The event was fully booked and over 300 attended. The food was excellent, the company good and the atmosphere couldn't be better.

After the musical concert, the St. Stythians Band also joined in together with the members of the Ghajnsielem Local Council and Archpriest Fr. Frankie Bajada. The pre-feast euphoria and excitement were certainly the order of the day!

Most of our emigrants left Ghajnsielem many years ago and settled in Canada, Australia and North America. They are our ambassadors abroad and most of them are benefactors too. Their presence among us during the Feast of Our Lady of Loreto is appreciated. To them all goes the gratitude of us all.
