The World luxury cruise liner is seen anchored outside Mgarr Harbour, in Gozo yesterday. Arriving from Syracuse, Sicily and carrying around 100 passengers, this cruise liner is visiting Gozo for the first time. The World plans to remain berthed in Gozo for the next two days, during which its passengers will be free to explore and experience the island. It will then proceed to Sousse in Tunisia. Local agents for The World cruise liner are Malta Cruise Services of Mifsud Brothers Ltd. The World is expected to return to Malta in September next year.
