A delegation from the Ghajnsielem Local Council led by Mayor Francis Cauchi paid an official visit to the Anton Cassar Primary School. The mayor was accompanied by the executive secretary Anthony Zammit and Councillors Larry Buttigieg and Antoinette Mizzi. After a short speech by the headmistress Ms. Pauline Grech, the mayor presented a gift to the winners of the best-custom competition which took place the day before during a grand-carnival show.

The young children were overjoyed when they were presented with sweets and pastries as some students were tempted to open the plastic and start eating!
