17 girls and 12 boys today received their Holy Confirmation. The sacrament was administered by Gozo Bishop Mons Mario Grech. Archpriest Dun Frankie Bajada  also took part. Those who received the Confirmation participated in the Liturgy.

Confirmation is a sacrament in which the Holy Ghost is given to those already baptized in order to make them strong and perfect Christians and soldiers of Jesus Christ. It is sometimes known as the “Sacrament of the Holy Ghost”.

The children receiving the Holy Confirmation are Ivana Attard, Joseph Attard, Maria Attard, Loretta Azzopardi, Mario Azzopardi, Nicole Azzopardi, Rodlyn Azzopardi, Maureen Bartolo, Loretta Borg, Andrew Buttigieg, Chantell Camilleri, Kelsey Caruana, Marlon Caruana, Glen Cutajar, Josephine Debattista, Francesco Demanuele, Tyler Grech, Gabriella Grima, Rachel Grima, Eman Haber, Natalia Muscat, Charlene Portelli, Christopher Portelli, Mario Portelli, Lor-ann Rapa, Charlotte Vella, Rica Xuereb, Roslyn Xuereb and Matthew Zammit.
