The Ghajnsielem Local Council has recently published a 16-page magazine summarizing the works and projects done by the current administration during the last three years. The colourful publication is inundated with photos and covers six main topics including embellishment projects, the environment, education, town twinning, activates and road resurfacing.

Of particular interest are the exciting plans to build a Civic Centre in the area between the Ghajnsielem Football Club Premises and the Ghajnsielem Primary School.  Mayor Francis Cauchi told ghajnsielem.com that the centre "will offer a hub of services including the a medical clinic, a police station, a newly refurbished post office, the library, a conference hall and a new premises for the local council. In other words it is a  one-stop service centre". All neccessaru permits from MEPA are in the final process of being approved and works should start within the next few weeks.

In the upcoming days, the publication will be distributed to all local households. Ghajnsielem will be electing their sixth Local Council Administration on the 8th of March.
