Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, who is on a pastoral visit to Canada and Detroit, on Sunday met the Maltese community in the Maltese parish of St Paul of Toronto run by the Missionary Society of St Paul.

After concelebrating Mass, Mgr Grech visited the Maltese Canadian Society, the Maltese Soccer Club and the Maltese Band Club. Mgr Grech met several Ghajnsielmizi  during a Dinner Dance held at the Rizzo Hall for this celebration.

On Sunday, during the feast of St Paul, after the mass the emigrants were all invited to the church hall to meet the bishop and on Tuesday 29th April. the Gozo Committee held a dinner at the Vessuvio Restaurant in Dundas street. Over 130 people attended for this event and many took the opportunity to take photos and chat with Mgr Grech. Mgr Grech was accompanied by his personal assistant Fr Eddie Zammit and his secretary Fr Charles Sultana.
