Just a few days before 2008/9 snooker season starts, the Snooker committee has organized it's first fund-raising activity in the form of a BBQ Night at the St Joseph Band Club premises. During this event which was attended by several enthusiasts, Larry Buttigieg presented trophies to the U21 League winners.

The snooker sub-committee is functioning under the wings of the St Joseph Band Club and will be responsible for all activities related with the snooker/billiard/pool activities including the financial aspects, the organizations of the league and competitions, presentation of trophies and improvement of existing facilities.
