The
Ghajnsielem Parish organized a trip to Malta for the
students who attended the Christmas Novena last year.
The group departed with the 7.30am ferry boat with the
first destination being Valletta where they saw a crib
made of recycled material. The group also visited the
upper barakka and St Paul's Church and later the
students were given some free time.
Next
destination was Sliema to visit the Ursoline sisters.
The students spent some time with the children who
reside there. Afterwards they went to the sisters’s
chapel to participate for the Mass. Two sisters – one of
them from Gozo – explained to the students some aspects
of their community life and also what is their work.
Before
the group left back to Gozo they stopped for some
shopping at Bay Street.
