The Franciscan community celebrated the Epiphany with a Holy Mass led by P. Joseph Magro ofm and animated by St Anthony's choir under the direction of Tony Galea.

During the offertory, the Franciscan Fraternity was presented with a Silver Sunburst with a 25 inch diameter, the work of silversmith George Farrugia from Victoria. The Sunburst was donated by Farrugia's family and will be placed behind Baby Jesus's head on St Anthony's statue.

The St Anthony's statue was made by Cav Luigi Gucci in Lecce in 1923. The silver sunburst will compliment St Anthony's sunburst and lily which were made in 1971 to commemorate the 25th anniversary from the proclamation of St Anthony, doctor of Evangelism.
