This weekend, the Franciscan Fraternity is celebrating the Liturgical Feast of St Anthony, thus closing the official feast celebrations dedicated to this Saint. The church was impressively decorated for the occasion with activities starting on Friday morning with a special mass dedicated to the students of the Qala and Ghajnsielem Primary schools.

In the evening, P. Georg Bugeja ofm led the vespers and a concelebrated mass.

The liturgical feast was celebrated on Saturday with a concelebrated mass led by P. Joseph Magro ofm. Shortly afterwards, the bread was blessed and given to the present congregation.

All celebrations were animated by the St Anthony's Choir led by Tony Galea.
