A delegation of 27-people from the Italian town of Tolfa made a 5-day visit to Ghajnsielem. The delegation was led by Mayor Alessandro Battilocchio and included members from the musical group 'Anamita di Tolfa' and the 'Gruppo Comunale Voluntri di Protezione Civile di Tolfa' which is a civil protection volunteer group.

Their itinerary included a visit to the major attractions in Victoria and a tour around the island of Gozo. The delegation also spent Friday evening in Malta while on Saturday, the Choir took part during the 'Eku mill-Munxar.... dari u llum' by joining their Italian counterparts. 

The Ghajnsielem Local Council hosted a dinner in their honour on Sunday evening which was also attended by Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Chris Said.
