The Ghajnsielem Parish today concelebrated a thanksgiving mass in honour of Fr. Tarcisio Attard who on Friday 2nd April celebrated 50 years of priesthood. The mass was animated by the 'Ghajnsielem Ensemble' Orchestra and Lauretana Choir.

Being also 'Vocations Day', Gozo Bishop Mgr Mario Grech addressed the congregation before the mass and augured that our youths to follow Fr Attard's example and consider taking up consecrated life and be closer to Jesus. The ceremony was followed by a reception for immediate family friends and clergy in the Parish Centre

Fr. Tarcisio Attard was heavily involved in many areas related with Ghajnsielem and is currently the reactor of Lourdes Chapel. Ghajnsielem.com wishes him many, many years of continued good health.
