Ghajnsielem F.C. completed the transfer of the local winter transfer market when they surprisingly snapped up Alexander Simoncic from Nadur Youngsters. The 33-year old Serbian will join the Club with immediate effect.

Simoncic will be unveiled as an Ghajnsielem F.C. player this Sunday, the 17th of January at Ghajnsielem Football Club during an 11 a.m. rally organised by the committee. The experienced central midfielder inked a three year-contract after he expressed his desire to play for the Blacks and agreed personal terms with the Club. Several other major clubs had shown interest in signing the player, but Simoncic was determine to play for the Blacks and thus become part of this extraordinary club.

Alex Simoncic's record of success speaks for itself. He has helped Nadur Youngsters win championships and other major honours both as a player and as a player-coach.
