The rain
of confetti and papers thrown from
private roofs in Hamri
Street once
again created a unique atmosphere
which was only passed the
chanting of the present crowd as the
St. Joseph Band played the 'Viva x-Xemx'.
Celebrations continued in
the main square where the young
revellers danced and chanted
together as several fire-planes
simultaneously crossed the main
square from three different
locations.
The
evening ended with a spectacular
pyrotechnic ground-firework display
accompanied by background music.
