ex-Blacks player and ex-Secretary,

contributed countless hours of work
to get the place ready before
Christmas and to spruce up the rest
of the Club premises after several
years of neglect. He also thanked
the Minister for Gozo for the
advance payment of €10,000 in
connection with the €20,000 that the
Ministry was contributing towards
the works relating to the
Ghajnsielem ground project.
Both The Minister for
Gozo and Dr. Refalo stressed the
important role that the Club was
playing in the community as the
entity responsible for sports, and
noted that the value of sports in
terms of physical fitness and
long-term health, sense of team
work, emotional well-being and
psychological development was
something that Government and
Opposition were in total agreement
about. Dr. Refalo praised the
committee for focusing on long-term
projects and noted that the dream of
a turf surface for Ghajnsielem was
about to become a reality. The Gozo

Ghajnsielem.
