Bishop leads
Pentecost Vigil
(Saturday, 26th May 2012)
A 'Pentecost Vigil' was held in the main square
where Gozitans were invited to pray together the
Holy Spirit who will fill our minds, hearts and
lives with His strength so we can give witness to
our faith. The vigil was led by Gozo Bishop Mgr
Mario Grech. The event was held around the biggest
bell 'Maria Loreta' which will be lifted tomorrow at
11am. This bell carries the first beatitude -
Blessed are the Poor in Spirit, Theirs is the
Kingdom of Heaven.
