Sculptor's
work auctioned in London

Ghajnsielem
born stone sculptor, Joe Xuereb, has recently donated one of
his sculptures to the Maltese Charities Association who organized
a gala dinner at the Landmark in London on 22nd
November 2002, to raise funds for local charities.
Xuereb's
work titled "Érotique" a two figured piece of
height of 48 cm, was auctioned by the renowned Boneham,
raising
an outstanding price of £1600 (pound sterling).
Through the intervention of the Gozitan sculptor, the
Association is promising to make a donation to one of the Gozo
based charity organizations.
