Festa 2006

The Ghajnsilmizi were in for a surprise as l-Ghaqda ta' l-Armar unexpectedly presented the new statue of Our Lady of Home just a few minutes before the "Marc tal-Balzunetta". The new statue is the work of Micheal Camilleri Cauchi. As the march ended in the main square the crowd were in for another surprise. The statue was hanged to a cable and moved slowly towards the pedestal in the most spectacular way crossing all the main square while staying a few meters above the crowd.
