REVIEW

SQUAD

Għajnsielem F.C. won the first reserves league championship in club history in the 1967/68 season. The team was led by Vincent Cutajar, who was pressing hard for a place in the senior team. The Blacks' opponents were Victoria Hotspurs, S.K. Calypsians and Sannat Lions. Għajnsielem made it clear that they meant business by sweeping the first round. Once again, Victoria Hotspurs provided the stiffest opposition. The Blacks narrowly beat the Victoria side 2-1. Għajnsielem made sure of the championship by winning all their second round matches as well, for a perfect 6-0-0 record.
