Għajnsielem, winners of the inaugural
edition of the Esso Cup, reclaimed this
trophy with a comprehensive win over
Xagħra United. Vincent Cutajar shot the
Blacks ahead fifteen minutes into the
match when he pounced onto a loose ball
following a corner kick. Eight minutes
later Karmnu Cutajar doubled the score.
Toni Cauchi lobbed home the third in the
