Għajnsielem F.C. won the fifth
Under/14 league championship in their
history by holding Oratory Youths to a
1-1 in the
decisive match of the season. The Blacks
trailed the Youths by three points at
the end of the preliminary phase. While Għajnsielem
swept all their championship pool
matches leading to the final showdown
the Youths drew twice. Top scorer and
team captain Damon Hili scored the all
important goal that gave the title to
the Blacks. |
