History by
Era
The History by Era tells the story of the beginning of
football in Ghajnsielem in the nineteenth century, the
foundation of the Club, the quest for the first league
title, the golden years of the Club, the dark days and the
return to the forefront of Gozitan football in the past
few years. It spans seven chapters, the seventh charting
the last decade.
The
section is made up of excerpts taken from Mr. Joe Rapa’s three-part look at
the Club’s history published in the Black & White 1984/85,
translation of parts of Mr. Joe Scicluna’s article in the Black & White
issue published in August 1994 to commemorate the official opening of the
new club and contributions by Mr. Loreto Scicluna.
