U/21 through to semi-final stage
March 31

Ghajnsielem's Under/21 side beat Kercem Ajax  1-0 to book a place into the semi-final stage of the competition. Lawrence Haber scored the all-important goal for the Blacks.

Zebbug Rovers back with a vengeance
March 28
In the top of the table clash, Zebbug Rovers roared back into first place blowing Nadur Youngsters away 4-0. Kercem Ajax and Sannat Lions drew 0-0 at the other end of the table.

U/16 triumph in JPE Q/F
March 28
Ghajnsielem's Under/16 side eliminated S.K. Victoria Wanderers 5-2 from the Joseph Portelli Enterprises Cup. Miguel Refalo (2), Kenneth Mercieca (2) and Anthony Buttigieg scored the goals in this impressive quarter-final win.

Attard puts Tigers to the sword...again
March 27
Ghajnsielem rode two Joseph Attard goals to beat Xewkija TIgers 2-1 in a strange match at the Gozo Stadium. Xewkija took the lead and looked the better side in the first half, but the Blacks slowly came back in the game to gain three valuable points.

Blacks blow it
March 21
Ghajnsielem blew a 2-1 lead with less than five minutes to go, and lost to Nadur Y. 2-3. Joseph Attard II and N'dayi Kalenga scored for the Blacks. In the following match, Sannat Lions beat Zebbug R. 3-2, a result which left Nadur in first place and five teams within a point of each other at the other end. Kercem Ajax and Victoria Hotspurs drew 2-2.

Under/14 close season with win
March 19
Ghajnsielem's Under/14 side close the season on a good note with a 3-1 win over Qala St. Joseph. Ivan Vella's side scored the goals through Ryan Grima (2) and Charlon Tabone. The Under/12 side dropped to a 2-6 loss against S.K. Victoria Wanderers.

Victoria Hotspurs edge Sannat Lions
March 14
Victoria Hotspurs beat Sannat Lions 1-0 to move off the bottom of the first division table. Victor Egere scored the winner from a last minute penalty.

Under/16 off to a good start in cup
March 14
Ghajnsielem's Under/16 got off to a good start in the Joseph Portelli Enterprises Cup when they beat Zebbug Rovers 3-1. Anthony Buttigieg, Roderick Apap and Clint Azzopardi scored the goals for the Blacks.

Blacks' Brian Meilak January Player of the Month
March 8
Ghajnsielem's own Brian Meilak has been chosen as the G.F.A. Player of the Month for January. Meilak is having a terrific season for the Club and for Gozo F.C. The tireless wing-back, who can play on either side is also captain of the M.F.A. second division leading, Gozo F.C. side.

Blacks denied at the death
March 7
Ghajnsielem nearly pulled off a famous victory when they came back three times and then took the lead, only to be foiled by a last minute penalty. Brian Meilak, Mbueko Dominique, N'dayi Kalenga and Jeremy Camilleri scored for the Blacks. Leandro and Mahjoub Touali scored two apiece for the Rovers. Xewkija Tigers beat Kercem Ajax 1-0 in Sunday's match.

Bad week-end for Blacks' youths
March 7
Ghajnsielem's Under/12 and Under/16 sides, both out of the reckoning for honours dropped to heavy losses in their latest matches. The Under/12 side lost to champions elect Xewkija Tigers 0-3. The Under/16 side were put to the sword by the surprising S.K. Victoria W. 2-6. Jonathan Grech and Anthony Buttigieg (p) scored the Blacks' goals.
