N'dayi Kalenga has been chosen as the Foreign Player of the Year of the
broadcast on Radio Calypso 102.3 "Zona Sport", the wildly
popular program on Gozitan football conducted by Mr. Joe Bajada. Dominique
Mbueko placed second.

Brian Meilak has been chosen as the Club's footballer of the year for the
03/04 season. Meilak had a terrific season playing in a variety of roles
for the Club. Jeremy Camilleri was also rewarded for his versatility and
persistence as well as quality of play with the award for most dedicated
player. In the youths section the honoured players were the following: for
the Under/21 team Jonathan Debono (best player) and Larry Buttigieg (most
dedicated player), for the Under/16 team Anthony Buttigieg (best player)
and Miguel Refalo (most dedicated player), for the Under/14 Matthew Grech
(best player) and Cody Grech (most dedicated player) and for the Under/12
Brandon Spiteri (best player) and Ascanio Bajada (most dedicated player).

The Club's annual general meeting 2004 was held on Friday. In an unusually
brief session, the annual report was presented to the members in
attendance. A new committee was elected. Raymond Grech is the new Club
president. Alex Spiteri stays on as the Club secretary and Joe Debono
takes on the role of treasurer. Alfio Rapa joins the committee as the new
vice-president. Young Jonathan Grech is the fifth member of the committee.
None of these posts were contested.

Xewkija Tigers edged Kercem Ajax 2-1 in the third and last match of the
relegation mini-league. The result puts Xewkija Tigers on top of the three
team league and therefore in fifth place in the first division table.
Kercem Ajax finish sixth and must play against St. Lawrence Spurs in the
relegation/promotion playoff on Monday.
