Get-together

The Club organized a get-together at the Club premises for all the
players. David Carabott, Frank Buttigieg and N'dayi Kalenga were presented
the Player of the Year Trophy, Most Dedicated Player Trophy and Top Scorer
Trophy respectively by the various Club officials. Under/14 players Ryan
Grima (Player of the Year), Jonathan Sultana (Most Dedicated Player) and
Charlon Tabone (Top Scorer) were also presented with trophies as were
Under/12 players Kenny Hili (Player of the Year), Justin Buttigieg (Most
Dedicated Player), and Ferdinand Apap (Top Scorer). Victor Xerri presented
promising Under/14 player with a complete Nike kit donated by Urban
Jungle.
Annual General Meeting

The Club held its annual general meeting, which officially brought the
2004/05 season to a close. The annual report containing a message from the
president, the administrative report and the financial report was
presented to the Club members. Mayor Francis Cauchi, G.F.A. president Joe
Cordina and secretary Alvin Grech also attended the meeting. Secretary
Alex Spiteri announced that David Carabott was the Club's Player of the
Year. Frank Buttigieg was given the Most Dedicated Player award. Raymond
Grech, Alfio Rapa, Alex Spiteri and Joe Debono all incumbents were not
contested and will fill the roles of president, vice-president and
treasurer, secretary and meber respectively in the 2005/06 season.

Ghajnsielem's Daniel Bogdanovic is the 2004/05 G.F.A. Footballer of the
Year. The Blacks striker was the key performer in Ghajnsielem's march
towards the league championship. Domenique Mbueko made it a memorable 1-2
when he grabbed the Foreign Player of the Year honour. Domenique was a
standout in the 2-0 win over Xewkija Tigers, the match that crowned the
Blacks champions.
Under/21 heartbreak

Ghajnsielem's Under/21 side lost 2-3 to Xewkija Tigers in the semi-final
of the competition. Franklee Galea gave Ghajnsielem an early lead. Xewkija
scored twice before Larry Buttigieg equalized. The game went into
extra-time. Towards the end Xewkija scored the winner from a penalty. This
was the second time in two years that Ghajnsielem faltered in this manner
