December 31
Ghajnsielem earned a well-deserved point against league leaders Nadur Y. Brian Meilak scored the second half equalizer in the 1-1 draw. Alex Ribic had put Nadur ahead in the opening session. Xewkija Tigers edged closer to the leaders with a 3-1 win over S.K. Victoria W.

Christmas Eve round-up
December 24

Xaghra United kept in touch with the leaders by beating Sannat Lions 3-1. Kercem Ajax moved into second place with a 3-1 win over S.K. Victoria W.

Barren spell continues
December 19

Ghajnsielem's season long slump continued unabated with a sterile performance and 0-1 loss to Kercem Ajax. Nadur Youngsters notched their sixth straight win beating Xewkija Tigers 2-1 and in so doing solidified their hold of first place. Ghajnsielem's Under/12 team 22 game long unbeaten streak stretching back to the start of the 2004/05 season finally came to an end. The Blacks lost a hard-fought game against Nadur Youngsters 1-3 (Adrian Cordina).

More disappointment for Under/19
December 13

Ghajnsielem's Under/19 team were held to a 2-2 draw by Zebbug Rovers. Lawrence Haber and Charlon Tabone scored the goals.

Weekend Round-up
December 11

Ghajnsielem's Under/12 side brushed aside Gharb Rangers 6-0 for a share of first place in the table. Luke Meilak scored a hat-trick; Lornie Mizzi, Brandon Spiteri and Melvin Xuereb scored the other three goals. Title contenders Sannat Lions and Xewkija Tigers slipped in pursuit of Nadur Youngsters. Sannat were held to a 1-1 draw by S.K. Victoria W. Xewkija threw away a two-goal lead and settled for a 2-2 draw against Xaghra United.

Joseph Buttigieg rescues Blacks
December 8

The Blacks made hard work of their G.F.A. quarter-final tie with St. Lawrence Spurs but in the end emerged victorious 4-2. Second half substitute Joseph Buttigieg was the hero, as he had a hand in all four goals, scoring twice; he had also earned a penalty, which was missed by Renato Conceicao. Joseph Attard and Joseph Buttigieg scored in the second half to nullify Spurs' shock two-goal lead. Renato Conceicao (see below) and Buttigieg again, secured the win in extra-time. Xewkija T. had earlier disposed of the other Division 2 high-flier, Qala St. Joseph in an eerily similar fashion, to win 4-2 also after extra-time. The Blacks' Under/14 side fell at the hands of hot favourites Xewkija T. 3-7 (Brandon Xuereb 2, Robert Grima). The Under/10 team lost a five-a-side tournament at the Sannat Ground on penalties to Oratory Youths.

Primary School Boys Champions
December 6

Ghajnsielem has won the Primary School Championship for the third time in the last 4 years. They won their 10th game of the season when they beat Qala 4-0. Justin Attard scored twice, Antonio Xuereb and Glen Cutajar scored the other two goals. Their only blemish was a 1-1 draw against St. Therese. Justin Attard scored for Ghajnsielem.
