Blacks execute the great escape 
May 28

The enthusiasm of Victoria Hotspurs' promising side proved to be no match for the experience and enthusiasm of Ghajnsielem in the playoff which determined the fate of the two clubs for next season. Joseph Attard scored both goals in a 2-0 victory for the Blacks.

Valiant Blacks lose final  
May 21

Ghajnsielem's bid to win the G.F.A. Cup fell short when they lost to Kercem Ajax 1-3 in the final. Renato Conceicao put the Blacks in the lead with a first half penalty. Two Alfred Effiong goals and a second hafl Sabri Rais strike sent the Cup to Kercem.

Kercem Ajax reach G.F.A. Cup final  
May 17

Ghajnsielem's opponents in the G.F.A. Cup final will be Kercem Ajax, who beat Nadur Youngsters in the semi-final 4-2.

Blacks end league play on a losing note 
May 13

Ghajnsielem lost to S.K. Victoria W. 2-3 in a match that had no impact on the final standings. Larry Buttigieg and Joseph Buttigieg scored for the Blacks. Nadur Y. secured the point they needed from their last match of the season against Kercem A. to secure the eight title in their history.

Blacks run out of luck 
May 7

Ghajnsielem lost to Xewkija Tigers 0-1. The result means that the Blacks will finish 6th. In the other 1st division matches, Nadur Y. beat Xaghra U. 4-1 and Kercem A.  beat Sannat L. 3-1. The league title will be decided on Saturday when the two contenders take each other on, with Nadur holding a one point lead in the table.
