Ghajnsielem's U/14 team
are crowned league champions

Ghajnsielem's
Under/14 team are league champions after beating Nadur Youngsters 2-0 at
the Gozo Stadium in the title decider. Gabriel Cordina, the Club's overall
top scorer opened the score in the first half direct from a corner kick.
Kenny Hili, one of the Club's brightest prospects, made sure of the title
with a late goal. Goalkeeper Richard Sammut was another of the Blacks'
heroes with a solid display in goal. At the end of the match Captain
Robert Grima received the championship trophy from APS Bank, Victoria
Branch Manager, L. Scicluna. Formation: Richard Sammut, Manuel Xuereb,

Ghajnsielem defeated in the Super Cup

Ghajnsielem
lost 1-2 to Nadur Y. in the Super Cup final. Two headed goals foiled the
Blacks in their bid to win two trophies in
4 days. In between, Marian Bucur scored for Ghajnsielem. This match closed the curtains on the 06/07 season.
Ghajnsielem go for their
5th triumph in the Super Cup

Ghajnsielem will play Nadur Y. in the final for the Super Cup. In recent
year the competition consisted of two semi-finals contested by the top
four finishers in the first division, followed by a final between the
winners. From this season, the competition will consist of a final between
the champions of the first division and the G.F.A. Cup winners. Nadur
qualified as league champions, Ghajnsielem qualified as G.F.A. Cup
winners.
U/12 Blacks finish
second

Ghajnsielem drew 2-2 against Nadur Y. in the last match of the Under/12
league season. Luke Meilak and Damon Hili scored for the Blacks. The result leaves the Blacks in 2nd place behind champions
Nadur.
