When Peter Caruana resigned from senior team coach, after the 1975/76 season, up stepped Noe Zerafa, former captain and committee member to take over the coaching duties. Noe was in charge of the team for one season, and he has the distinction of leading the team to an unbeaten league campaign. In fact the Blacks were 2-10-0 in league play. Under Mr. Zerafa, Ghajnsielem finished as runners-up in the first division.
