Biography
Carl Scicluna has already had a
long career in Għajnsielem's
youth teams. He
was part of the
championship winning U/12 squad
of 2004/05. He played for the
U/12 team for the next two
seasons, and in 2006/07 he was
ever present in defence for the
team that just missed the league
championship of the category.

In 2007/08
Carl captained the Under/13 side that
finished second to Nadur Youngsters in
the league. At the end of this season,
Carl was honoured by the Club with the
most promising player award for the
category. In 2008/09 Carl was for the
third time in his career league
runner-up, this time at Under/17 level.
His team made up for the disappointment
of finishing second by winning the cup
competition of the category. In 2009/10
Carl played in midfield for the Under/17
team. Carl is expected to be one of the
stalwarts in the Blacks' side in
2010/11.
