Sunday 3rd May 2009 was the day selected for a special Sunday outing. A bike hike was organised which filled with enthusiasm those present as the pictures demonstrate.
In an effort to enrich in our students the interest in historical places that link Saint Paul to our island, our centre together with that of Victoria and Qala, organised a visit to some of these places. Around seventy students participated.
Another outing in Gozo countryside took place on 8th March 2009. This time we had the opportunity to observe the wonderful landscape that Nuffara hill offers. The panoramic green view that we had the opportunity to enjoy, recalled us how great is our Creator.
In an attempt to vary the Sunday outings as much as possible, on Sunday 1st March 2009 students from our centre and from that of Qala met at the Qala artificial turf pitch to participate in a friendly football tourhaent. Have a look at the players in action!
Instead of the usual Sunday afternoon outing, it was decided that on Sunday 22nd February 2009 a sports tournatment will be organised at our centre. Students organised themseleves into groups and participated in various games.
As those who have attended our centres spread over Malta and Gozo know, Sunday afternoon is associated with an outing. The photos below demonstrate one of such outing which took place on Sunday 23rd March 2008 at L-Gholja tas-Salvatur.
In line with the Pauline Year, our centre did organise a quiz about this famous Saint. Spread over two days, Monday 26 and Thursday 29, studies were asked several questions based on the life and teaching of the saint.
